Indiana Department of Homeland Security Announcement from James McHugh

Effective April 10, 2017 I will step down from my role as Infrastructure Protection Program Manager for the Indiana Department of Homeland Security and Jennifer de Medeiros will assume my responsibilities as our new Infrastructure Protection Program Director. I will continue to serve the department as Deputy Director of Planning and Assessment and will work closely with Jennifer to ensure that any outstanding projects continue to move forward. Many of you already know Jennifer from her exemplary work on our cybersecurity program and she has worked closely with me as I managed the infrastructure protection program. I will assist Jennifer as she assumes her new role to ensure we can continue to offer assistance to all of our partners. Her email address and phone number will remain the same but her title will change to “Infrastructure Protection Program Director” on April 10. Please include Jennifer on any communications regarding IDHS’s Infrastructure Protection Program. Jennifer or myself will make individual contact to facilitate turning over outstanding projects.

It has been a privilege to work with all of you. Our work together has advanced our collective understanding of statewide vulnerabilities, created new and strengthened existing networks of readiness and response partners, and informed a more meaningful picture of Indiana’s critical infrastructure landscape.
