The Town of Huntertown is accepting applications for a full-time Utility Worker. Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following: working with municipal water and sanitary sewer systems and infrastructure, such as wastewater lift stations, sanitary sewer collection system and water distribution network; utility locates; snow plowing; and various street maintenance activities. Successful applicant must be able to take a rotation of on-call after hour duties and occasional overtime. Applicant must live within thirty (30) miles from Huntertown. Normal Hours: 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. – Monday through Friday Salary Range: between $15.45 to $21.70 per hour, depending on experience Education and Experience: Applicant must possess a high school diploma or equivalent; a valid Indiana Driver’s License; and be able to pass a background check and drug and alcohol screening. Previous experience in a municipal utility setting is preferred. Indiana issued Water and Wastewater licenses is a plus.
